Thousands of visitors had the opportunity to enjoy the popular Greek singer Despina Vandi at the concert organized by the Municipality of Paralimni for Flood Sunday in Protaras, overlooking the famous Fig Tree Bay beach.
The free concert took place in the crowded municipal event square Fig Tree Bay, where tens of thousands of visitors from every corner of Cyprus visited Protaras to enjoy the special musical performance organized by the Municipality of Paralimni.
During her interpretation, Despina Vandi did not fail to thank the Municipality of Paralimni and to emphasize the fact that it is located just a few meters from the Fig Tree Bay beach of Protaras, one of the most famous beaches in the world.
In his brief greeting, the Mayor of Paralimni, Mr. Theodoros Pyrillis, welcomed the visitors to the great event organized on the occasion of the three days of the Holy Spirit, while he did not fail to congratulate the staff of the Municipality of Paralimni.
The concert was attended by, among others, the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, the Attorney General, Members of Parliament, the Mayors of Aglantzia and Lefkonikou, the Mayors of Frenarous and Aheritou, Directors of Ministries and Government Departments, Government Officials, municipal councilors and other guests.
