With great success and increased participation from various countries abroad was held on Sunday, October 10, the 2nd International Race "Protaras Swim Run" which was organized by the GSS. "O Keravnos" in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni.
Athletes from Cyprus, Greece, Poland, England, Russia and Israel participated in the race. The teams of athletes competed in the distances of 13 or 25 kilometers with continuous alternations of running and swimming.
The route along the tourist of Protaras as well as the magical paths of Cape Greco in combination with the crystal clear waters of FigTree bay, Green Bay and the beach of Konnos, were characterized as impressive, carefully designed and safe.
The event was completed with great success, impressing the participants.
The prizes were awarded to the winners by the Mayor of Paralimni, Theodoros Pyrillis.
It is worth noting that the Protaras SwimRun is the only SwimRun race in the eastern Mediterranean.
