The Famagusta District Court today heard an appeal filed by the owners of a leisure center in the free area of Famagusta, regarding the validity of its temporary suspension order issued by the Court on June 9, after repeatedly violating it.
The objection was filed a few days after the issuance of the temporary decree suspending the operation of the premises, following a relevant request submitted by the Police.

Famagusta.News reports that today the Famagusta District Court examined the substance of the case, which allegedly concerned the commission of crimes by the accused. At the same time, there was a request from the Police to suspend the operation of the premises as it was operating without a permit from the Ministry of Tourism.
According to what was heard in court and according to the certificates that have been submitted to the court, it was found that the owner has now complied and a license has been issued since June 15 by the Ministry of Tourism and therefore, from now on. from now on the property is licensed for operation.
Therefore, the request of the Police for suspension of the operation of the premises in order to "end any illegality" becomes without object and this is because it has now secured an operating license from the Ministry of Tourism.
As for the offenses for violating the decrees on the lawlessness and operation of the property without a license during the disputed time of the complaints, these, according to the examination of the case, concern the substance of the case and they remain for trial and will be accepted. , or the court will hear the specific allegations.
It is recalled that on June 9, the Police filed a lawsuit before the District Court of Famagusta against the owners of the leisure center, five cases involving offenses in breach of the Law on Infectious Diseases and four cases in the Ministry of Justice. he owned a license from the local authority and a sale of alcoholic beverages.
