A wine cellar in Paralimni was engulfed in flames on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the spokesperson of the Fire Service, Andrea Ketti, at 6:50 on Tuesday afternoon (1/2/2022) a call was received for a fire in a wine cellar on Protaras Avenue Kavo Greko in Paralimni.
For the extinguishing of the fire, the Famagusta Fire Station responded to Sergeant Adamou Adamou with a firefighting team and 4 fire trucks and the fire was brought under control at 20:30.
There were no people in the area at the time of the fire.
The fire and heat burned down cellars (drinks and other products) and the smoke affected the building internally.
The causes of the fire will be investigated later today, in cooperation with the Police.
