As stated in a statement by the Municipality of Paralimni, in an effort to comply with the laws, the Traffic Department of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia started intensive foot patrols on public roads and properties in the tourist area of Protaras.
Members of the Traffic Police carried out a patrol on the evening of Thursday, August 1, 2024 on the main avenue of Protaras where they proceeded to check for the possession of licenses by street vendors, for illegally parked vehicles, for illegal advertising signs as well as everything that results from the Municipalities Law.
In the next period, the patrols and controls of the Traffic Police of the Municipality will be intensified, while it should be noted that they are done in cooperation with the Police, which patrols the Protaras coastal promenade.
