A meeting of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia was held on Monday, September 28, 2026, with the Presidents, members and representatives of the cultural and organized groups of the Municipality.
The Mayor thanked and congratulated all the organizations, associations and volunteers for their significant contribution to the cultural life of the place, emphasizing that volunteerism is one of the most important assets of the Municipality.
Particular mention was made of the recent citizen satisfaction survey, where the Municipality's cultural events garnered the highest ratings, confirming their quality and appeal.
Increased cultural activity makes better planning necessary.
The focus of the meeting was the new process for the annual planning of events, aiming for a unified calendar, avoiding overlaps and timely planning of the Municipality's needs.
The Mayor emphasized that the new procedure does not aim to limit support, but to better organize and more effectively serve cultural and organized groups.
Common goal: more and better quality culture, through even more organized cooperation.
