The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nicoletos, held a meeting with the Monuments Committee in Paralimni.
During the meeting, which took place in the presence of the Municipal Engineer of the Municipality, Mr. Andreas Genagritis, and the sculptor, Mr. Philippos Giapanis, the Municipality's intention to create a park dedicated to the two hero-martyrs, Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomos, was discussed, where the two statues created by the sculptor Philippos Giapanis will be placed.
The meeting concluded in a very constructive atmosphere and the intention for cooperation between the Monuments Committee and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia was highlighted so that, 29 years after their sacrifice, a space dedicated to their memory could be created.
