With deep respect and national pride, the annual memorial service of the Hero-Martyrs Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomos was held, paying tribute to their memory and sacrifice.
The memorial service was held in the presence of the President of the House of Representatives, while on behalf of the Government, the Deputy Minister of Immigration attended and delivered a speech.
Tasos Isaak, just 24 years old, was beaten to death, while Solomos Solomou, at the age of 26, was murdered in cold blood when he tried to take down the Turkish flag.
