Mr. The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia honored Sofoklis Kyriakou yesterday with the awarding of an honorary plaque for his voluntary contribution.
Mr. Nicolettos awarded Mr. Kyriakou honorary plaque as a sign of gratitude on behalf of the Municipality for his voluntary contribution and his intervention in an incident concerning the protection of the Municipality's property. Specifically, Mr. Kyriakou intervened in an incident of causing a fire in a Municipality building, managing to completely extinguish the fire voluntarily before the arrival of the Fire Service.
The Mayor thanked Mr. Kyriakou stressing that such actions deserve congratulations and that the Municipality will give credit to citizens who demonstrate a selfless offer, not only in terms of protecting the property of the Municipality but also in a more general offer to society as a whole.
Also present during the modest event was the Municipal Secretary Ms. Gabriela Gavriel.
