The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia informs the public about the organization of the 2nd charity siren call "The Sirens' Call", which will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., at Armyropigado (Proskopoi) beach in Paralimni.
Following the great success of last year's event, "The Sirens' Call" returns, inviting women of all ages to participate in a unique swimming experience for charity.
The aim of the event is to financially support the Cyprus Cancer Society and Arodafnoussa, supporting the valuable work they do in the field of palliative care.
The route includes a 500-meter swim to Pezounospilio and back, while each participant can swim as much as she wishes and feels comfortable, as the priority of the organization is participation, solidarity and shared experience. Participation is open to all, with or without a mask and flippers.
The participation fee is 20 euros, with all net proceeds going to support the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Association and Arodafnoussa.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia supports this important initiative and invites the public to participate or support the event, contributing in practice to an important social cause.
