Giorgos Koronidis, 35, from Paralimni, succumbed to his injuries after a serious road collision that occurred yesterday afternoon in Paralimni.
Specifically, around 7.45 late yesterday afternoon, a car driven by a 36-year-old woman on Korai Street in Paralimni, under conditions being investigated by the Police, collided with a motorcycle driven by the unfortunate 35-year-old.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was thrown on the asphalt and was seriously injured. Note that, he wore a protective helmet.
The injured person was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta where he was intubated and then he was transported to the General Hospital of Nicosia where around 2 today at dawn he succumbed to his injuries.
The Famagusta Traffic Police continues the examinations.
