An honorary hike of 11 km for the medical, paramedical and nursing staff of the Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as a Reference Hospital, was carried out today by the hiker Alexandros Sophocleous.

Around 11 in the morning, Mr. Sophocles met at the building of the Fire Service of Paralimni with the Volunteer Commissioner Giannis Giannakis and other people from Charitable Organizations and then proceeded to the General Hospital of Famagusta.

Volunteer Commissioner Giannis Giannakis stated that "today's event of Mr. Sophocles was held to support all these people in the Reference Hospital who during the pandemic fight against the invisible enemy and save lives, which is very important.
