The Minister of Finance expressed his opinion on the scenarios of the mergers on social media, referring also to the free province of Famagusta.
Konstantinos Petridis posted his opinion about the province of Nicosia and the logic of unification in a metropolitan municipality, through the proposal he submitted to Parliament in December 2019 following studies and which saves savings of over 17 million euros per year for whites. Unfortunately, however, as he mentioned, party alisveris prevails.
Paralimni Municipal Councilor Loizos Loizou responded to his post by asking for his opinion on the possibility of haircutting in the free province of Famagusta, with the former Minister of Interior answering that Deryneia, Ayia Napa and En Paio are divided into three Municipalities.
You have an opinion about Nicosia and it is absolutely correct. You do not see a problem for the haircut in Famagusta. What does the unified Municipality tell you? Is not it more beneficial and sustainable?

Of course I have. See what I submitted and its logic in Dec 2019. It is funny and without logic Deryneia, Paralimni, Ag. Napa, with a single local plan to be shared in three municipalities!
