The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, recently met with a delegation from the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Organization (KOEAS) at his office. The topic of the meeting was the upcoming organization of the 3rd CYPRUS ROAD RACES GRAND PRIX, which will be held in Protaras on Sunday, April 27, 2025 and will include 10 and 5 kilometer road races as well as a 1 kilometer family and children's race.
Mr. Nikolettos emphasized that among the Municipality's goals is the organization of national and international sports events that will transform the area into a pole of attraction, among other things, for sports tourism.
The meeting was attended by distinguished Cypriot track and field athletes, Eleni Artymata and Andri Sialou.
