According to the post, 14 young people rented a house in Protaras, and for 4 days they had non-stop parties, with alcohol, voices, music, fireworks, etc. When a Swiss family living next door made a remark, according to the post, the young people started cursing them and making gestures.
The complainant of the incident with a post, who as he states at that time was for walking with his dog, remarked to them and told them to be ashamed and to calm down.
The young men reportedly attacked and beat him.
The citizen states that he contacted the police who arrived at the scene immediately, while familiar faces of the young people tried to persuade him not to proceed with a complaint, stating that the same was encouraged by the Police.

In communication of Famagusta.News with the Police, we were told that yesterday, Tuesday, at 19:30, information was received from a citizen that young people in a rented villa were causing trouble.
Members of the Police rushed to the spot and asked the Swiss tourists and the citizen to submit their allegations in writing, in order to investigate the case. According to the Police, both the complaining citizen and the Swiss tourists refused to make a written complaint, while the police made recommendations to the young people, who apologized for the harassment.
The police reject as non-existent the allegations about the recommendation by its members to the citizen not to make a complaint, while so far there are no complaints before the Authorities for beating and injuring a citizen.
