A total of 67 kg of garbage was collected from the cleaning of the Golden Coast fishing shelter in Protaras.
According to the Police, members of the Famagusta Port and Maritime Police cleaned the Golden Coast fishing shelter in Protaras last week, during which garbage weighing a total of 67 kilos was collected.
The action entitled "Clean in Deep" which is a private initiative, aimed to strengthen environmental awareness and the concept of individual responsibility towards environmental protection.
It is noted that the Port and Maritime Police were responsible for the safety of both the divers who carried out the underwater cleaning and the users of the fishing shelter.
