On 20 and 21 March 2026, Cyprus will host the Pan-European Cocktail Competition for the first time, as part of the 10th Cyprus Bar Show, a specialized product exhibition aimed at catering, hospitality and bartending professionals. The event is organized by the Cyprus Bartenders Association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
The event marks an important moment for the hospitality industry in Cyprus, placing the island on the European map of major professional bartending events.

The European competition will take place at the Laxia Palace Hall in Protaras, from 12:00 to 18:00, with participation from 30 European countries.
The event will also be attended by the World President of the International Bartenders Association, a fact that further enhances the international prestige of the event and highlights its importance for the global bartender community.

A European conference will also be held within the framework of the Cyprus Bar Show, during which important decisions regarding the activities of the International Bartenders Organization will be discussed and made.
The program will conclude with presentations, seminars and speeches by professionals in the field, offering knowledge, information and important networking opportunities for catering, hospitality and bartending professionals.

The President of the Cyprus Bartenders Association, Costas Pissias, noted that the organization is a result of the Association's long-standing presence at European and international level. Through systematic participation in global competitions, conferences and institutional meetings, the Association has built relationships of trust and has proven that it has the necessary experience and organizational capacity to host such an important event.]
Despite the high demands of an international institution, Cyprus has significant advantages, such as authentic hospitality, flexibility, direct communication and a human approach — elements that create a friendly yet professional environment for contestants, judges and visitors.
Participations are carried out through the national associations of the member countries of the International Bartenders Association, ensuring a high level of professionalism and quality.
The audience will have the opportunity to watch top bartenders from all over Europe, creative cocktail recipes and a unique experience that highlights the level and dynamics of the modern bartending scene.
The event is a strong statement of extroversion and international recognition for the Cypriot bartending community, opening new paths for the new generation of professionals in the industry.
We invite you to visit and experience this unique event firsthand.
