The need for the operation of a District Education Office in the free province of Famagusta, was pointed out by the DISY MP, George Karoullas, to the Minister of Education and Culture Costas Hambiaouris.
According to the MP, the operation of the Education Office in the province of Famagusta, will facilitate the management of issues concerning all levels in the field of education in the specific area.
The implementation of this proposal provides the possibility of implementing decentralized and differentiated policies, as in any other province, in the context of holistic approaches as submitted by local specificities.
"We raise the issues concerning Education high in our priorities and the operation of the District Education Office in the province of Famagusta, will contribute to the achievement of our goals, based on our timeless principles," said Mr. Karoullas.
