"No incident at the General Hospital of Famagusta" clarifies PASYNO

The incident at the General Hospital, which occurred around 3 am today, is common, PASYNO reports.

Famagusta.News contacted PASYNO spokesman Theodoros Petelis, who stated that the incident concerned an elderly patient aged 72 who was admitted to the General Hospital of Famagusta with a stroke. After receiving medication, the patient showed aggressive behavior, resulting in the nurse receiving blows, which, according to him, is common in such cases.

An incident was created at the pathology clinic, as a result of which the Police were called. According to the Police, the incident was recorded, but the nursing staff will not proceed with any complaint, respecting the patient's health condition.

It is recalled that according to AlphaNews.Live article, the 72-year-old patient allegedly beat the nurse after, according to what the website cites, the latter asked him to put out a cigarette which he lit inside the ward.
