Panathenaic Cyprus Football Schools: Competed in a tournament in Greece (PICTURES)

A dynamic presence at the Panhellenic New Year's Tournament of the PANATHINAIKU Football Schools, which took place in Peania on the four days of January 2 to 5, 2024, was given by the PANATHINAIKU Football Schools of Cyprus, which participated with 15 athletes and a total of 21 team members. Led by the Head of the Network in Cyprus, Mr. Giorgos Giassemi and the entourage of Coaches and Parents, the Panathenaic Football Schools of Cyprus were there to show that Cyprus also has talent and the very good work that is done in the Schools of Cyprus. The PSS NEW YEAR GREEN TOURNAMENT was a combination of technical training and matches guided and supervised by the central staff of the official Academy of PAE PANATHINAIKOS.

The tournament is part of the special events organized by the PANATHINAIKOS Network in collaboration with the experienced team of Sporteam and which enables the coaches and scouts of the PANATHINAIKOS Academy to detect tomorrow's stars who will wear the PANATHINAIKOS shirt as well as to offer children unique football experiences.

All the children who participated were honored with commemorative cups, medals and gifts, while the event gave the children the opportunity to get to know each other and create friendships that unite all parts of Greece.

In his statements to the First Academies Site of Cyprus, the Head of the Cyprus Network Mr. Giorgos Yasemi said the following: "It was a very nice experience for the children and the coaches as we had the opportunity to train and compete at the Panathinaikos main school under the guidance of Mr. Samios and Mr. Batsinila and the coaches of the central school. We thank the team for the hospitality, Mr. Kostas Alassa, Mrs. Evdokia, friend Panagiotis Panagoutsos and Thanasis Petsos. We thank all the schools of Panathinaikos that we had the opportunity to participate in the games and training together. We wish the Panathinaikos family a happy new year. All the best to all Panathinaikos schools."

The Panathenaic Cyprus Football Schools operate in Acheritou and Lymbia and invite all children who wish to live their football dream to visit one of the recognized Schools in Cyprus.
