The Mayor of Paralimni, Theodoros Pyrillis, harshly criticized the support received by the Metropolitan of Constantia - Famagusta Vasilios from the people of Famagusta during Sunday's Archbishop's Elections and the results of the votes.
In a scathing post, he criticizes the people of Famagusta and the way they voted in the Archbishop's Elections, during which, according to him, it seems that they did not support the bishop of their province. In particular, in a related graphic posted by the Mayor of Paralimni, it is clearly seen that of Famagusta residents in Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia, only 9,5% voted for the Metropolitan Basil of Constantia and Famagusta.
