The award ceremony took place on Sunday 17/12 at noon on the beach and included a live radio connection, competitions with rich prizes, games for young and old, decorating a Christmas tree with reused materials.
The goal was to reduce plastic pollution so that we could enjoy clean seas free of plastics.
A filtered water cooler was placed in the area and water bottles were given to the visitors so that they could fill them in order to reduce plastic.
The event was supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, ETAP Famagusta, the Municipality of Sotiras and the Sotiras Youth Center.
