Livestock farms, cafes and shops in the Municipality of Sotira visited today, Tuesday, November 16, the President of DIKO Mr. Nikolas Papadopoulos, accompanied by Members Christos Seneki and Zacharia Koulia, the Chairman of the District Committee DIKO Famagusta Constantine Chrysodontas, the General Secretary of PEK Christos Papapetrou and party officials.

This was followed by a meeting at the City Hall of Sotira with delegations of the Municipalities of Sotira and Agia Napa and the Community Council of Liopetri on the subject of the reform of the Local Government.

The assessment that with good will and mood we can reach compromise solutions that will implement the goals of the Local Government reform, was expressed today by the President of DIKO Nikolas Papadopoulos.

In statements after a tour in the free province of Famagusta, Mr. Papadopoulos said that "we had the opportunity to discuss the upcoming Local Government reform with representatives of the Municipalities of Ayia Napa, Sotira and the Community of Liopetri, to discuss in the best possible way in terms of the goal of clustering and merging the Services to the citizens of the free area of ​​Famagusta, in such a way that on the one hand the united Municipalities can offer the best possible Services to the citizens and on the other the reform to be embraced by the local community ".

I believe Mr. Papadopoulos continued that "that through good will and mood, we can reach compromise solutions that will implement these goals."
