The Municipality of Ayia Napa, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Services, is organizing an information meeting entitled "Communities in Transition: The Social Worker as a Catalyst for Change", on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 6:00 pm, at the Social Services Center of the Sotiras Municipal District.
The event is taking place on the occasion of the completion of ten (10) months since the start of the "Neighborhood Social Worker in the Municipality of Ayia Napa" program.
The purpose of the meeting is to highlight the important role of the social worker as a catalyst for social change and empowerment of local communities, as well as to present the results and actions of the program to date.
The "Neighborhood Social Worker" program is part of the "Restructuring of Social Welfare Services" project, which is implemented within the framework of the THALEIA 2021-2027 Cohesion Policy Program, with co-financing from the European Union.
