The Sotiras Youth Center, the Sotiras Catechetic Meetings, the Sotiras Reserve Commandos Club, the Sotiras Hunting Club and the Sotiras Choir are joining forces and organizing a Voluntary Blood Donation on Monday, March 16, inviting the public to support this important act of giving and solidarity.
The blood donation will take place at the Sotiras Social Welfare Center, from 17:00 to 20:00.
The aim of the action is to strengthen the blood bank and raise awareness in society about the importance of voluntary blood donation, which saves lives and gives hope to our fellow human beings in need.
The motto of blood donation is: "When you give blood, you give life," reminding us that a small act can be a precious gift of life for someone else.
All those who can donate blood are invited to participate in this commendable initiative, demonstrating in practice the spirit of solidarity and humanity of the local community. Let us all be present because donating blood is a gift of life.
The event is under the auspices of the Sotira Municipal District.
