The owner of Tsiakourmas Enterprises Ltd, Kyriakos Tsiakourmas, issued an announcement today regarding the case filed by the Municipality of Sotira regarding the transfer of real estate of SPE Sotira from KEDIPES with opaque procedures.

In detail, the announcement:
In response to what has been said in recent days by the Mayor of Sotiras in which they photograph our company, for opacity in the real estate market in Sotira, which belonged to the SPO Sotira and which we have in our possession and have been managing as tenants since 2014 and is operating as a Supermarket, that the purchase became lawful.
KEDIPES contacted us and informed us that the building is for sale, our answer was that we are interested in buying it, since we are already tenants of the above building.
Online offers were announced and our company delivered the offer which was later registered with us at the highest price. Other offers were submitted below ours.
The whole process started in July 2018 and ended in January 2019.
I would also like to mention that no crypt was made. On July 27, 2018, I myself had informed the Mayor of KEDIPES 'intention to sell the building in question. Throughout the seven-month process, we had many discussions with villagers on the subject.
I also wanted to mention that in a conversation with a representative of KEDIPES when he told me that the building is owned by KEDIPES, I replied that it does not belong to KEDIPES but to the citizens of Sotira who you took by force.
In conclusion, I would like to express our dissatisfaction with the way the Mayor of Sotira acted against our company.
