Sadness in the Municipality of Ayia Napa over the death of Kyriakos Spyros, who passed away yesterday, February 18, 2026.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, the Deputy Mayors of Sotiras, Ayia Napa, Avgorou, Achna, Liopetri and the members of the Ayia Napa Municipality Council express their deep and sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Kyriakos Spyrou served as an employee of the Municipality of Sotiras from 2011 to 2024, demonstrating ethics, consistency and dedication to his duties, offering essential work and valuable services. Subsequently, he continued his professional career at the Famagusta District Organization of Local Government (EOAA), where he served with responsibility and professionalism.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa and all the Municipality staff express their deep sympathy to his family and loved ones.
The funeral service will take place tomorrow, Thursday, 19/02/2026, at the Church of the Resurrection of the Savior at 15:00 PM in Sotira.
The family will not accept condolences.
In lieu of wreaths, contributions will be made to the family of the deceased.
