The Municipality of Sotira warns its citizens that the plots must be cleaned.

The owners or responsible persons of plots and other open spaces in the area of the Municipality of Sotira are notified to proceed with the cleaning and removal from their plots, of all grass and useless objects until March 31, 2022. The responsibility for cleaning lies solely with the owner, responsible even if useless materials have been placed by third parties.
Those owners or responsible persons who can not take care of cleaning their plots on their own, can contact the Municipal Service at 23827822, with the appropriate charge.
After March 31, 2022, a workshop of the Municipality of Sotiras will clean all the plots or other areas that will not be cleaned and will charge the owners or the responsible persons. In these cases, all legal measures will be taken to recover the costs, not excluding legal costs.
This notice is also considered as a personal notice to all the above mentioned owners or responsible persons and is sent based on the Law on Municipalities (Law 111/85, articles 91 and 92).
Owners of abandoned cars are also notified to move them to a permitted area until March 31, 2022, otherwise a crew of the Municipality will move them without any commitment.
