I have never heard you say that you had a hope, a dream. You never said a clear, correct word. Fifty-eight years gardener, nine hours a day, in a rocky place where not even a goat climbs. […] A life sitting on thorns, and you did not move from there, lest someone else take your place!
A well-known and successful Irish writer, Charlie Tainan, returns to his hometown for the funeral of his stepfather. Clarifying things at home, he recalls the paternal figure, the gardener Da, and manages in the here and now to have a conversation with him which he failed to have while he was alive. A return to the memories of childhood and adolescence and to the often thorny father-son relationship, where two worlds intersect, the memory and the present, with the comic element alternating with the dramatic, self-sarcasm with merriment, to highlight the , how simple and human.
The tender look of the author is conveyed on the theatrical stage by the director Maria Mannaridou-Karsera, having at her side the award-winning actor Costas Vihas, in the role of Da, and a renewed group of performers.

Implementing the relevant health protocols, the Municipality of Sotiras informs the public that the ticket policy that follows is determined by the regulations of the decree in force (dated 26 November 2021) which enter into force on 29 November 2021 and expire on 17 December 2021.
● All persons, including employees / self-employed aged 6 and over, present a "Safe Pass", ie:
(a) for persons aged 6 to 11 years the demonstration of either a negative laboratory test or a rapid antigen detection test for the disease COVID-19 with the sampling having taken place within 7 days, or a certificate of recovery from his illness COVID-19 valid for six months from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis,
(b) for persons aged 2 to 17 years the demonstration of either a negative laboratory test or a rapid antigen detection test for the disease COVID-19 with the sampling completed within 72 hours, or a certificate of integrated vaccination for the disease COVID-19, or a certificate of recovery from his illness COVID-19, valid for six months from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis,
(c) for persons 18 years of age and older demonstrating either a comprehensive vaccination certificate for the disease COVID-19, or a certificate of recovery from his illness COVID-19, valid for six months from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis, either a negative laboratory test with the sampling done within 72 hours, or a negative rapid antigen detection test for the disease COVID-19 with sampling completed within 48 hours.
● It is understood that if on the day of the event this provision is changed to the one in force on that day of Infection (Defining Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19) Decree, this modification will apply to the event.
● All persons participating in any event in any capacity must bring with them an identity card or passport, as additional evidence, when requested by the competent authorities and / or an authorized person on the basis of the current Infectious Disease (Determination of Prevention Measures of the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19) Decree.
● The use of a mask and keeping distance is mandatory throughout the performance
. The capacity of the Municipal Theater Sotiras is defined according to the Protocols and decrees of the Ministry of Health.
. It is forbidden to sell food and drink on or outside the event venue.
