A car, worth 7 thousand euros, was completely destroyed in Sotira, by a fire that is believed to have been set maliciously.
According to the Police, around 01.20 today at dawn, a fire broke out in a car, owned by a 22-year-old who was parked outside his house in Sotira.
Men from the Police and the Fire Service went to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire.
It is believed that the fire was set maliciously, however the exact causes will be ascertained by the investigations that will be carried out this morning by the Police in cooperation with the Fire and Electromechanical Service.
The car, the value of which amounts to seven thousand euros, was completely destroyed by the fire.
The case is being examined by the Famagusta Police Department.
