SOTIRA: Campaign to collect old and damaged electrical, electronic appliances and furniture

The Municipality of Sotiras in collaboration with Weee Cyprus organizes the week 11-17 April 2022 a campaign to collect old and damaged electrical, electronic devices and furniture.

The warehouse of the former SPE Sotiras (next to SEDIGEP Sotiras) has been designated as a collection place and will operate:

Monday to Friday 8: 00-13: 00, Saturday 9: 00-12: 00 and Sunday 12: 00-15: 00

The point will be controlled by employees of the Municipality.

The campaign is done in order to give the opportunity to the Citizens to get rid of old objects and devices, by reusing or recycling them and not by disposing of them polluting the environment.

At the same time, it aims at the cultivation of environmental awareness and the integration of recycling in the daily life of the citizens.

From now on, the campaign will take place twice a year, before Christmas and before Easter.
