The Municipality of Sotiras accepts applications for the hiring of one (1) Extraordinary Assistant Secretary Officer / Librarian and one (1) Extraordinary General Duty Cleaner.

ΤΑ EXTRAORDINARY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OPERATOR / LIBRARIAN ☑️
1. Duration of recruitment:
The duration of recruitment will be six (6) months
2. Payment:
Approved salary scale A2 (gross monthly salary: € 1259 + index number)
3. Duties and responsibilities:
3.1 Responsible for the management, organization, planning, development and in general for the proper operation of the Municipal Library which is housed in the Center for Social Benefits (Cultural Center).
3.2 Responsible for the selection, evaluation of offers, purchase and receipt of books, newspapers, magazines and other audiovisual material.
3.3 Responsible for the classification, cataloging and computerization of library material.
3.4 Performs general clerical and accounting duties anywhere in the municipal service.
3.5 Types and / or shorthand in Greek and English with speed and accuracy.
3.6 Undertakes the maintenance of a file and / or library, a register of assets as well as various other registers of the Center for Social Benefits (Multi-Cultural Center).
3.7 Assists or handles correspondence related to his / her duties.
3.8 Assists and / or undertakes the execution of work, inside and outside the office, related to the responsibilities and activities of the Municipality related to the duties of the position.
3.9 Assists and / or undertakes the execution of work related to the performance of civil weddings, cultural and social activities of the Municipality.
3.10 Uses technological and other office equipment to perform its duties.
3.11 Assists in conducting inspections and conducts on-site surveys where necessary.
3.12 Performs tasks and implements procedures related to the maintenance of warehouse registers or other registers.
3.13 Collects, inside and outside the office, processes and classifies statistics and other data and information and prepares and reports and assists in the preparation of lists of rights, taxes, receipts, etc.
3.14 Makes receipts and payments and issues relevant receipts.
3.15 Performs the duties of special secretary.
3.16 Assists in keeping or keeps minutes of Municipal Committee meetings and other meetings and assists in the processing of decisions taken.
3.17 Depending on the needs of the Municipality, it records the indications of water meters and helps in the collection of fees.
3.18 Contact the public and receive or provide information.
3.19 Depending on the needs of the Municipality, it also performs answering machine duties.
3.20 will work when required by the needs of the service and outside the usual hours of the Municipal Service, but the total working hours will not exceed the specified number of hours per week.
3.21 Performs any other related tasks assigned to him / her.
4. Qualifications required:
4.1 High school diploma of a recognized secondary school.
4.2 Very good knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English.
4.3 Integrity of character, responsibility, initiative and discretion.
4.4 University degree or degree or equivalent in Librarianship.
(The term University diploma or title also covers a postgraduate diploma or title)
4.5 Previous experience will be considered an advantage.
4.6 White Criminal Record Certificate.

"EXTRAORDINARY CLEANER OF GENERAL DUTIES"

3. Duties and responsibilities:
3.1 Carries out cleaning works indoors and outdoors of the Center for Social Benefits (Cultural Center) and the Municipal Stadium Sotira.
3.2 Carries out cleaning works in event spaces, service buildings, beaches and in general in indoor and outdoor areas that are under the jurisdiction of the Municipality.
3.3 Handles cleaning equipment / machinery.
3.4 Receives and installs cleaning consumables.
3.5 Records and informs the Responsible for technical failures in buildings and facilities.
3.6 Attends seminars and is trained on new cleaning methods / products.
3.7 Implements instructions for safety measures and uses protective equipment and means.
3.8 will work when required by the needs of the service and outside the usual hours of the Municipal Service, but the total working hours will not exceed the specified number of hours per week.
3.8 Performs any other related tasks assigned to it.
4. Qualifications required:
4.1 Driving License.
4.2 Integrity of character, responsibility, initiative and discretion.
4.3 White Criminal Record Certificate.
4.4 Previous experience will be considered an advantage.
