SOTIRA: Father and son arrested in the occupied territories will remain in custody until tomorrow

A father and son were arrested yesterday afternoon by the occupying authorities in Strovilia on the charge that they had entered a military restricted area.

According to the Police, just before seven o'clock last night, a woman from Sotira reported to the Deryneia Police Station that around five in the afternoon, her 25-year-old son called her and told her that they had been arrested a little earlier together with her 47-year-old father. by the occupying forces in the area of ​​Strovilia.

A father and son had gone to see the 25-year-old's grandmother's house but were reportedly driven into a military restricted area.

Both are in good health and will remain in custody until Monday, October 1, when they will be brought before a so-called court.
