SOTIRA: Alarm at the Fire Department after a fire in "Vathkia Foni"

In the last 24 hours, the Fire Service responded to a fire in the province of Famagusta.

According to the Press Officer of the Fire Service, at 11:13 the Famagusta fire station responded with a fire engine supported by a Forest Fire Department to a fire in 5 acres of dry grass, wild vegetation and a number of trees (acacias) in the area Deep Voice in Sotira.

Irrigation hoses were also affected by the fire.

The causes are being investigated.
