Contributors of Sotira Neighborhood Observers Contribute to the illegal franchise case under the name Fourla

The Police and the Chief of Staff, Zacharias Chrysostomou himself, point out the significant contribution of the Savior Neighborhood Observatory through an announcement regarding yesterday's case of yesterday's illegal fundraiser in Sotira, where according to the information, the name of the well-known journalist and Representative of the House of Representatives, Luca Fourla.

In a statement, the Police wrote the following: 

It was reported to the Police at around 11.30 on the morning of Saturday, December 29, 2018, by the coordinator of the Neighborhood Observer program of the Municipality of Sotira, that unknown individuals are conducting illegal fundraisers, selling magazines.

Immediately members of the Famagusta Community Police as well as the Xylofagos and Deryneia Police Stations, went to the spot to search for the three persons. At the same time, a number of Neighborhood Observers were mobilized who were in direct and close cooperation with the Police.

Based on other information received from a member of the Police who was off duty, it was found that the above persons were riding in a specific car, which was located and stopped a little later. The car was carrying three people aged 27, 32 and 45, all from Larnaca province.

Investigators did not provide sufficient explanations and were taken to the Deryneia Police Station for further examination.

The above persons were subjected to a physical search of the entire amount of € 300, which they allegedly admitted, were obtained in the context of a fundraiser they conducted, while a number of forms were found in their car.

The three men, after being questioned, were charged in writing and subsequently released to be summoned to court.

The Deryneia Police Station continues the examinations.
