Today, 25/07/2025, at around 03:00 in the morning, information was received by the Police about a fire in a building in the Kapparis area of Protaras.
Members of the Paralimni Police Department and the Fire Department went to the scene where, upon their arrival, it was found that the fire had already been extinguished by members of the Police who were at the MMAD Training Center.
From the preliminary examinations that followed, it was determined that the fire was started maliciously, while minor damage was caused to the interior of the premises.
The scene has been cordoned off and further examinations will be carried out today.
The Famagusta Crime Detection Department continues the examinations.
