Cyprus is at the polls today for the Municipal Elections. Twenty new Municipalities, five Provincial Self-Government Organizations, thirty Community Service Complexes make up the new image of Local Self-Government.

Polls open at 7.00 am. and the voting process will be suspended for one hour, at 12.00 noon. The time will resume at 1.00 pm. and will continue normally until 6.00 p.m.

A total of 3.232 nominations were submitted throughout Cyprus, of which 13 concern the Presidents of the five Councils of the District Self-Governing Organizations, 82 the office of Mayor, 257 the office of Deputy Mayor, 2.190 the office of Municipal Councilor and 690 the office of Member of the School Board, in the 29 free and occupied Municipalities of Cyprus.

Ballots are colored differently, depending on the type of election. Specifically, for the Presidents of Provincial Self-Governing Organizations the ballot is purple, for Mayors yellow, for Deputy Mayors brown, for Municipal Councilors white, for School Board Members green, for Community Leaders orange and for Social Council Members grey.

You can use one of the following ways to find out the polling station(s) in which you will vote in the 2024 Elections, the electoral contests in which you are entitled to vote, as well as the number of preference crosses :
