The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, had a meeting with the Mayor of Famagusta, Mr. Simos Ioannou, in the context of continuous communication and cooperation between the two Municipalities.
During the meeting, a constructive exchange of views took place and issues of common interest concerning the region and the citizens were discussed. Among other things, there was a review of the joint events of Kataklysmos and Anthesteria that took place, as well as a discussion on the continuation and strengthening of the cooperation between them.
At the same time, reference was made to issues concerning the Metropolis of Famagusta, within the context of the broader exchange of views on issues of concern to the region.
Close cooperation and mutual support between the two Municipalities are an important element in promoting joint actions and initiatives for the benefit of the local community.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and the Municipality of Famagusta continue to work constructively, in a spirit of understanding and with a common goal of the good of the region, the residents and the entire Famagusta District.
