The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos, held a meeting with the Management of OKYpY today.
The meeting which took place at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall was also attended by the President of the Provincial Organization of Famagusta, Mr. Yiannis Karousos, the Mayor of Agia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou and the Deputy Mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Nikos Lilis, while from the OKYPY side, the General Executive Director attended Mr. Kypros Stavridis, the Executive General Director of the Larnaca - Famagusta Directorate Mr. Georgios Antoniou and the Scientific Director of the Famagusta General Hospital Dr. Amalia Hatzigiannis.
During the meeting, the problems observed due to the understaffing of the Hospital in the Nephrology Department as well as in the Emergency Department were discussed, with the representatives of OKYPY promising that they will provide immediate solutions.
The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia requested that any existing problems be resolved immediately so that health services can be provided seamlessly to the patients of the Famagusta district, requesting that the General Hospital of Famagusta have the appropriate staffing to serve the patients.
