The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia announces that the successful program "I Know My City" continues with a particularly great response, which is implemented throughout the year, offering organized groups and visitors the opportunity to get to know the history, culture, sights and modern development of our region.
Through the guided tours and activities of the program, the identity and character of the Municipality are highlighted, strengthening the connection of visitors with the place and our local tradition. At the same time, the most important points of interest of the area are highlighted, contributing to the strengthening of the extroversion and tourism development of the Municipality.
Indicatively, during the last two weeks alone, the following groups and organizations participated in the program's guided tours:

* Delegation of professors of the Athens Law School.
* Local Plan Objections Review Group.
* The Greek Basketball Veterans.
* The Xanthi Choir.
* The Paralimni High School.
* Delegation of the Metropolis of Edessa, Pella and Almopia.
* Group of artists from Greece.
* Delegation of the Embassy of China in Cyprus.
* Groups of journalists from Greek media.
* The 3rd Primary School of Deryneia.
* The Paralimni Children's Club.
* The Deputy Minister of Culture together with a team of archaeologists from the Department of Antiquities.
The ever-increasing participation of bodies, educational institutions, cultural organizations and visitors from Cyprus and abroad confirms the success of the program and the intense interest in the history, culture and development of the region.
