As part of the systematic effort to highlight and promote the rich cultural heritage of the region, the Mayor of Paralimni-Dheryneia met with the Associate Professor of the University of the Aegean, Mrs. Anastasia Hourmouziadou.
The subject of the meeting was the prospect of creating new exhibitions in the Municipality, which will illuminate the history, archaeological heritage and modern cultural identity of the region, through modern museological and exhibition approaches.
Ms. Anastasia Hourmouziadou is Director of the Museology Laboratory at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean.
Her interdisciplinary training in Chemistry, Architecture and Archaeology, combined with her experience in exhibition design and cultural resource management, adds particular value to the relevant dialogue.
The Municipality of Paralimni-Dheryneia invests in knowledge, cooperation and modern planning, with the aim of preserving, highlighting and making the cultural heritage of our place accessible to both residents and visitors to the area.
