In a modest and at the same time touching ceremony that took place after the end of the session of the Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) of Famagusta, at the Municipal Hall of Agia Napa, on the evening of Thursday 21 November 2024, she was honored by ETAP, the Municipality of Agia Napa and the Municipality of Paralimniou-Deryneia, for his many years of valuable contribution to promotion and in the development of the tourist product of the region, the until recently director of ETAP and former Director of PASYXE Famagusta, Mr. Lakis Avraamidis.
Both the Mayor of Agia Napa and President of ETAP Famagusta, Mr. Christos Zannettou, as well as the Mayor of Paralimni-Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos, the representative of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Mr. Panagiotis Hatziloizou as well as all the members of ETAP's Board of Directors praised the important work that he accomplished with dedication and love and which he left as a legacy to the tourist activities of the Famagusta district.
Also, he was characterized by everyone as an important friend, supporter, worthy ambassador of tourism in the region, whose name is, as they mentioned, now intertwined with the promotion and development of tourism in Famagusta Province.
Clearly moved, Mr. Lakis Avraamidis expressed his heartfelt thanks for the trust that all the agencies have shown in him over the years and for the kind cooperation, pointing out at the same time that he will always be next to ETAP Famagusta for whatever help is asked of him.
