An economic forum will be held in the autumn with the aim of developing cooperation between companies in Cyprus and Lebanon.

A written announcement of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBE) Famagusta states that a recent meeting was held "at the Lebanese Embassy in Nicosia with the Ambassador of the country Mrs. Claude El Hajal and a delegation of the Board of the Chamber, consisting of Vice President Toni Toumazis, the member of the Board. During the meeting, the members of the Chamber delegation "were briefed by the Ambassador on the situation in Lebanon, mainly regarding the economic and business activity of the country.
