The Hoplites' Night organized by the 7th Mechanized Infantry Brigade was attended by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos. At the event - which was supported by the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia - Mr. Nikolettos emphasized that it is everyone's duty to highlight the ethos, patriotism and self-sacrifice of the hoplites, who serve with discipline, endurance and absolute dedication to duty, despite the increased demands and difficult conditions.
He emphasized that their dedication does not go unnoticed, but is a source of inspiration for the entire society, while he reiterated the Municipality's continuous support for the army, not only through event subsidies, but also with practical interventions to improve infrastructure and strengthen the morale of young people.
He thanked the hoplites for their selfless contribution, expressing the hope that the next "Hoplite's Night" will take place in a completely free and peaceful Cyprus.
