A modern space for daily visitors that upgrades the image of the center is being created in the Municipal District of Aheritou. This is a project that will significantly help upgrade the Acheritos Municipal Apartment by creating a linear park.
The project will upgrade the current degraded image of the area in which there are also huge problems from rainfall making the area inaccessible.
With this specific project, many rainwater problems will be solved, as drainage channels will be created. A park will also be created which will be able to host small events and will become a place of daily visitation and entertainment for the residents of the area and the public, regardless of age. At the same time, based on the location of the project, it will be connected to the central area of the Acheritos Municipal Apartment and will have an upgraded parking space. All the necessary accessibility provisions for people with disabilities have been taken and the necessary certificates have been secured.
The Project will include paved areas, a central canopy, seating areas and tree planting. The park will be an excellent place for rest, walking and recreation, it will have rich vegetation and will upgrade the quality of life of the residents.
For the creation of the "Aheritou Linear Park" project, a contract was signed with Stavros Andronikou & Sons Ltd Contracting Company, amounting to €819.583,43.
