The unfortunate Katerina Giannakoudaki from the settlement of Agios Georgios Acheritos - Vrysoullon did not succeed in the battle to keep alive.
The unfortunate Katerina, at the end of September 2019, gave birth to a very healthy baby and was discharged.
Later, however, he presented with chest pains and was admitted to the General Hospital of Famagusta where he was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction and was admitted to the General Hospital of Nicosia in the early hours of Wednesday, October 2.
Doctors made superhuman efforts to save her life, and underwent a long quadruple bypass operation, as she had four closed arteries.
She was also taken to Israel and to Sheba Hospital where doctors connected her to an ECMO IVF machine, stabilizing her health and transporting her to Israel for further treatment.
Her health, however, deteriorated and before she could undergo a heart transplant she suffered a stroke.
The unfortunate Katerina leaves a daughter, as well as the one and a half year old child she gave birth to in September 2019.
Her funeral will be held tomorrow Sunday, 7/3/2021, and 11 o'clock in the morning in the church of Agios Dimitrios in the settlement of Agios Georgios Vrysoules-Acheritos.
There will be contributions for the family.
All protection measures against the pandemic will be observed. It is necessary to use a protective mask.
