On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the construction of the church of Panagia Soumela in the courtyard of the “Vrysoullon” Primary School in the Acheritou Municipality, the President of the Association and Deputy Mayor Mr. Michalis Kaounas, together with the members of the association, decided on a series of events as a sign of gratitude to the Pontian Ladies' Welfare and the Spiritual Brotherhood of Greek Women of Cyprus for the hospitality that the graduating students of the Vrysoullon Primary School received in the hostels of Panagia Soumela in Vermio in 1976.
