From June 19, 2024 applications, Damage Statements, are accepted for the damages caused by the heat from 05/15/06 to 2024/XNUMX/XNUMX in dry onion plantations in the communities of Xylofagos and Ormidia. Damage Declaration forms for the Revised National Framework can be found at the offices of the Provincial Agricultural Office of Larnaca, as well as in the subject section "Plans and Applications".
The owners, tenants or managers of the farms that have been affected are invited to submit a properly completed Damage Declaration form no later than July 03, 2024 to the Provincial Agricultural Office of Larnaca.
In case the beneficiary due to force majeure, is unable to submit the Injury Statement within the deadline, it can be submitted through a Representative and in exceptional cases via fax (FAX) or e-mail (email). However, in these cases the original Injury Statement must be submitted as soon as possible for it to be considered valid.

The relevant form should clearly state the details of the plot (as shown in the Declaration of Hectare Subsidies) and the details of the crop (species, variety, number of trees and area per variety) that has been affected. The form must be accompanied by a copy of the Application for Hectare Subsidies to KOAP for 2024.
It is reminded that it is the responsibility of the Producer or his Authorized Representative to notify any change of IBAN in the Damage Statement to be submitted and in the event of a change of IBAN, an original document from the Financial Institution must be presented.
According to the 2019 Law on Risk Management in Agricultural Production and Related Matters (103 (I)/2019), in all cases of crops for which the submission of a Crop Declaration is foreseen, this should already have been submitted by the affected parties.
It is emphasized that in cases where the harvest will take place immediately, representative witnesses should be left, in consultation with the officials of the District Agricultural Office.

It is understood that according to Law 103 (I)/2019, an agricultural holding manager, who has paid his annual contribution in advance, before the occurrence of any damage, is entitled to aid.
