A serious road collision occurred at around 3 pm on Anastatsi Manoli Street in Xylofagou, from which a seventeen-year-old man from Xylofagou was seriously injured.
Specifically, according to what the Police reports, at around 3 pm, while the 17-year-old was riding an unknown type of motorcycle on Anastasi Manoli Street from the center of the Community in the direction of the former Xylofago Police Station, under circumstances which are being investigated, he collided with a vehicle which he was moving in the same direction and attempting a right turn according to his course.
From the collision, the 17-year-old was thrown onto the asphalt.
An ambulance rushed to the scene and rushed the 17-year-old to the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni, where it was found that he had multiple internal bleedings and was immediately admitted to the operating room.
His health condition is considered very serious.
The driver of the vehicle, who is a 72-year-old foreign resident of Xylofago, was tested for breathalyzer with a zero reading.
