Migrant traffickers who arrived in Cape Greco are detained for eight days

The two alleged smugglers of illegal immigrants who arrived yesterday off Cape Greco were arrested and detained for eight days.

It is recalled that based on the testimonies of migrants, two people, a 31-year-old man from Lebanon and a 23-year-old man from Syria, who were on board the sixth boat were brought before the Famagusta Provincial Court today.

A total of 458 irregular migrants, spotted yesterday afternoon on six boats off the coast of Cabo Greco, were taken to the Pournara Reception Center.
